The most urgent matters

Although the manifesto of the ruling party i.e. Law and Justice does not have a section dedicated to environment protection, some provisions of this document can be related to eco-development, observance of the environment protection law, attention to agriculture, and renewable energy development. We talk with Mr. Senator Jerzy Chró¶cikowski, Chairman of the Environment Protection and Agriculture Commission of the Polish Senate, about most urgent problems.

EU funds for the environment
The interview with Ewa Mańkowska Ph.D., the President of the Management Board of the Provincial Fund of Environmental Protection and Water Management in Wrocław, concerning current events connected with the projects for the Coherence Fund. The Ministry of Environment announces procedural changes concerning preparation of applications. It will be possible to settle more issues without travelling to Warszawa, because part of the obligations of NFO¦iGW (National Fund of Environmental Protection and Water Management) may be taken over by regional WFO¦iGW (Provincial Funds of Environmental Protection and Water Management). This will considerably facilitate the work of self-governments.
